Heritage Cruises introduces the first Vietnamese boutique cruise on the Red River and the Gulf of Tonkin. Our fleet of vessels combines classic elegance with comfort, showcasing the country’s history, art, cuisine and culture.

With 20 cabins, two restaurants, a spa, swimming pool, bar and two lounges, the Halong Bay Heritage Cruises is defining the pinnacle of luxury cruises in Halong Bay and Lan Ha Bay. Passengers will be spoiled for choice in onboard entertainment, which together with our attentive staff and royal décor, creates an experience of the utmost comfort and opulence.

The route sailed by the Heritage Cruises takes our passengers through Lan Ha Bay, where the beauty of the scenery is absolutely equal to that of Halong Bay. Lan Ha is a lesser-known route with the same incredible limestone karsts as Halong; something that bestows a greater sense of peace to every cruise undertaken by Heritage.

– 2 Days 1 Night Tour

Cat Ba Archipelago is an exotic destination with pristine beaches, secluded lagoons, coves, tropical forest and lakes. On this program, find the best places for kayaking and boating. Experience, discover, explore, immerse and relax!

Day 1: Hanoi – Haiphong – Halong Bay – Lan Ha Bay in Cat Ba Archipelago ( Meals: L/D)

8:00 – 8:30 You will be greeted at your hotel to take the new highway to Got Ferry Terminal, Cat Hai Town, Haiphong City (if book our shuttle bus). You will travel on the longest bridge in Southeast Asia and be greeted at our lounge before boarding.

12:30 Board the Heritage Cruises boat and enjoy a welcome drink as you receive a cruise briefing, safety instructions and check in to your suite. Lunch is served at L’Indochine Restaurant.

12:40 Cruise to Da Chong islet, where you can see a heritage lighthouse built by the French more than 100 years ago. After lunch, cruise to Gia Luan Lagoon where limestone karst formations rise out of the sea. This quiet bay is untouched and remote, as not many cruise ships visit.

15:30 The cruise vessel approaches the Ba Trai Dao or Three Peach beaches in Lan Ha Bay, a natural frontier between the provinces of Halong and Haiphong. This secret hideaway has beaches, caves and coves, plus the spectacular natural beauty of about 400 islands. Guests can try kayaking or simply swim in the clear waters of the bay.

17:30 Back on Heritage Cruises, enjoy life aboard the vessel or in your suite, and with cocktail in hand watch the sunset over the Gulf of Tonkin.

18:30 Activities include afternoon tea and the chef will lead a Vietnamese cookery class.

19:30 A memorable dining experience will be offered at the restaurant, with local food in an intimate and romantic setting.

21:30 Enjoy evening views of the bay at the bar on the top deck. Try your hand squid fishing. The bars are open until late.

Day 2: Halong Bay – Hanoi ( Meals: B/L)

6:15 Start the day with a session of Vovinam on the sundeck,

6:45 The guests will enjoy a light breakfast on board.

7:15 Head off in a bamboo boat to explore the Dark and Bright Cave

9:00-9:30 Return to the ship for checkout.

10:00 Enjoy brunch while cruising back to harbour.

11:00 Return to Got Harbour and relax at our lounge while your transportation arrives.

12:10 Departure to Hanoi for those who have booked our Limousine service.

14:00 Approximate time of arrival in Hanoi, and drop-off at your hotel.

Heritage Cruises 3 Days, 2 Nights Tour

The Heritage Explorer Ocean Cruise is a program particularly designed for those who love exploring. Venture off the beaten track, go kayaking and visit floating fish farms and villages. Discover secluded beaches, lagoons, coves and caves.

Day 1: Hanoi – Haiphong – Halong Bay – Lan Ha Bay ( Meals: L/D)

12:30 Board the Heritage Cruises boat and enjoy a welcome drink as you receive a cruise briefing, safety instructions and check in to your suite. Lunch is served at L’Indochine Restaurant.

17:30 Head back to the cruise ship and grab a cocktail to watch the sunset over the Gulf of Tonkin.

18:30 Options include a tea ceremony, massage, or a Vietnamese traditional cookery class.

19:30 A memorable dining experience at the restaurant features local delicacies in an intimate setting.

21:30 Relax at the top-deck bar, try your hand at squid fishing. The bars are open late.

Day 2: Halong Bay – Bai Tu Long Bay Hideaway ( Meals: B/L)

6:15 Practise Vovinam on the sundeck at sunrise, followed by coffee, tea and pastries.

8:30 Transfer to a speedboat to visit Viet Hai Village. Take a bicycle ride or electric car through a rainforest tunnel that leads to a rice-field vista. Visit a traditional house in a village deep in a national park where you can observe the lifestyle of the local people and enjoy lunch on the village. Back to the speedboat to visit Lan Ha Bay.

13:30 Visit Lan Ha Bay where you can go bamboo boating, kayaking at Ba Ham Lake, enclosed by vertical cliffs (if the weather permits).

17:30 Back on Heritage Cruises, enjoy life aboard the vessel or in your suite, and with cocktail in hand watch the sunset over the Gulf of Tonkin. The chef will lead a Vietnamese cookery class.

19:30 Enjoy a fine-dining experience in the main restaurant.

21:30 Welcome the night at the bar on the top deck, or try squid fishing. The bars are open late.

Day 3 : Halong Bay – Hanoi ( Meals: B/L)

6:15 Start the day with a session of Vovinam on the sundeck.

6:45 Have a light breakfast on board.

7:15 Head off in a bamboo boat to explore the Dark and Bright Cave.

9:00 – 9:30 Return to the ship for checkout.

Important Notes:

PROGRAMS & SCHEDULES SUBJECT TO CHANGE WITHOUT PRIOR NOTICE
In case of unpredictable bad conditions of weather in Halong Bay, please kindly understand that the cancellation will be made ONLY by the Management Board of Halong Bay and normally the announcement will be informed in short notice.
Please kindly provide us your passport information at least 01 week before the cruise date.
If you have any specific food request (vegetarian, allergic, non-seafood, etc.), feel free to let us know so we can serve your demands with the best

Cruise Policy

Check in on board: 12:30pm
Check out: 09:30 and Leave cruise at 11:00am
The FOC rate for children under 5 years old is applicable for 1 (one) child sharing a cabin with 2 (two) adults. Only 1 (one) child under 5 years old traveling with two (2) adults is allowed for FOC per cabin.
Children from 5-09 will pay extra charge 75% of adult rate.
Children 10 and above must pay full fare as adult.
Peak season surcharge: Surcharge $50/adult and $40/child for Gala dinner applies if guests stay on board on December 24th and/or December 31st and Tet Holiday.

Cancellation

If the cancellation be announced by the Management Board of Halong Bay, depend on the timing of the cancellation, following policies will be applied:
Before departure from Hanoi to Halong Bay (none of the services has been used): 100% refund.
During the trip (some services have been used: transfer, lunch, day trip, hotel in Halong, etc.): used services will be charged, the rest will be refunded.
The trip be cut down from 2 nights to 1 night, tourists will be charged a 2 days/1 night trip, plus other used services, the rest will be refunded.
