Our captain and technicians perform daily quality maintenance checks to ensure the smooth running and high standards of safety on-board our craft. Upon boarding your cruise you will be welcomed with a complimentary beverage while your crew provides you with a compulsory safety demonstration. This brief presentation is designed to help you familiarize yourself with the layout of our boat, the emergency procedures, meeting points and more.
All of our crew receive regular training in emergency procedures and we pride ourselves in our strict adherence to these rules. Era Cruises Halong Bay proudly has the maximum levels of insurance permitted to ensure peace of mind for all our guests and crew. Our captain is required by law to submit daily reports and complete lists of passengers and crew.
Era Cruises Halong Bay is equipped throughout with a full range of safety equipment and devices. The whole vessel is fitted with smoke and fire alarms. Plentiful life jackets can be found in designated areas around the craft. We have numerous maximum capacity lifebuoys and life-rafts around the ship.
Each cabin contains a brochure outlining our emergency protocols. They are also equipped with two life jackets, a smoke detector, a waterproof torch and a hammer which can be used in emergency situations. Night lights always illuminate our corridors and communal areas.
